We have three Hardware/Embedded-Software Engineers. One has degrees in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with emphasis on control systems. He has worked in the Motion Control Industry, and is experienced in designing digital and analog control systems. He has extensive experience designing FPGAs using VHDL under Altera and Synplicity, and has been designing high performance Microprocessor systems, and analog circuits with PSPICE simulation. He is also fluent in C, Pascal, LISP, BASIC, FORTRAN application programming under Unix, OS-9, MS-DOS, Macintosh platforms, and Assembly Language programming using several Microprocessors for real-time systems. Recently he has been writing USB embedded code, and Windows WDM Drivers. In addition to motion control products he has designed Data Acquisition Systems, device integrated modems, FM transmitters and receivers using telephone lines, and complete medical electronic devices which amplify and filter ECG using DSP filters, and then digitize and transmit the signal over ordinary telephone lines. The products that he has designed for the medical industry are CE marked and FDA approved. Our second Hardware/Software engineer has Bachelor Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics. He has over 13 years experience designing analog and digital systems. He is experienced in designing real-time embedded hardware and assembly language software. Recently he has been designing hardware for Infra-Red Imaging systems. He was the project leader and lead hardware/software engineer for a high volume, highly successful medical product. The project involved a significant R&D effort to specify a device which could replace several existing products. This product was so successful that one of the major competitors of the company that he worked for decided to stop manufacturing their own product, and OEM the product that he had designed. Our third Hardware/Software engineer is experienced in hardware and software design for embedded systems. His qualifications will be posted here soon.
